Mary Helens Shrimp Victorian
Seasoning
- 2½ tbsp Paprika
- 2 tbsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tbsp Black pepper
- 1 tbsp Onion Powder
- 1 tbsp Cheyenne Pepper
- 1 tbsp Dried Leave Oregano
- 1 tbsp Dried Leave Thyme
- Mix all ingredients together and seal in an airtight container. Also good on fish!
Ingredients
- Small onion diced
- 1 cup of mushrooms
- 2tsp of minced garlic
- 1¼ stick of butter
- 2lbs of peeled shrimp
- ¼ cup of white wine
- 1½ cups of sour cream
- 1 to 3 tbsp of flour for the thickening
- Sauté pan with a lid
- 2 cups of minute rice
Instructions
- Melt butter in sauté pan.
- When butter is melted sauté onions until almost translucent.
- Then add mushrooms and minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute.
- Next add shrimp and cook until the shrimp is almost done and add wine.
- Put the lid on and let simmer until the wine reduces. Should be 5 minutes or less.
- Take lid off and add flour to thicken the sauce. Cook until the flour taste is gone.
- Add sour cream right before serving. Mix well and serve over the minute rice.
