Blackened Trout


  • ½ c. Dry parsley
  • 2 tsp. Dill weed
  • 3 tsp. Dry basil leaf
  • ½ c. Veg. Oil
  • 1 tsp. Garlic powder
  • 4 shots Bacardi
  • Redfish seasoning (available for purchase at Redfish Lodge)


  • Mix first 6 ingredients together in a baking pan.
  • Dip fish fillets in baking pan and lay on baking sheet, let stand at room temp. for 45 min. Then cover fish with Redfish seasoning (only one side).
  • Cook seasoned side first for approx. 2 min. Then cook other side for about 3 min. Now it is ready to serve.
