Spring Fishing Report | April winds have blown the water to the coast, and the tides in the Coastal Bend are way up. This means millions of shrimp, menhaden, and mullet have entered the bay system. The hungry fish are delighted, and have been very aggressive in the last two weeks.
Lodge guests have enjoyed great action with live shrimp under corks for trout and drum, and cut mullet and menhaden has produced great redfish action. We are only a few weeks away from croaker season, and our trout numbers seem really solid.
It’s shaping up to be quite a fishy spring and summer, so get your trip reserved before time runs out. | Spring Fishing Report
